(#24) COFFEE OREO: Beantown crunch

It might be too hot for coffee, but it's the perfect time of year for Scoopsies' Coffee Oreo ice cream!  Dirty Water Javah meets Double Oreo in this rich blend of deliciousness!  

Scoopsies' Coffee Oreo Ice Cream

yields about 1.5 quarts

1 1/2 cups of heavy cream

1 1/2 cups of whole milk

1/2 cup sugar

1 1/2 cups whole coffee beans

2 large eggs

2 large egg yolks

1/4 tsp vanilla

pinch of salt
15 oreos, chopped

(#12) DOUBLE OREO: Double Trouble

It's double the deliciousness with our original Double Oreo!  Throw in the (completely) crushed up crumbs of about ten Oreos right when you start churning the base, and chunks of the rest of the Oreos towards the end of the churning!

yields about 1 quart

2 cups heavy cream

1 whole cup milk

3 large egg yolks

2 large eggs

2 tbsp nonfat milk powder

1/2 cup sugar

1 tbsp. vanilla extract

15-20 oreos coarsely chopped

pinch of salt
